The Brazilian Secretariat of Civil Aviation – SAC has just issued a Public Notice to call interested parties to express their interest in submitting feasibility studies that could subside the next round of airport concessions. The upcoming projects will grant long-term concessions for the expansion, operation and maintenance the following international airports:
Salvador and Fortaleza, both in the Northeast of Brazil; and
Florianopolis and Porto Alegre, in the South of Brazil.
Interested parties in submitting feasibility studies to the Government must express their interest no later than June 30, 2015. The submission procedures are further detailed in Public Notice, which available at:

The companies will have a 90-term to prepare the feasibility studies, counted as of the date when SAC authorizes the relevant studies. The Government will have the discretion to use the submitted studies, which should be prepared at the companies’ expenses. If the studies are selected, the author will be entitled to participate in the future bidding process, as well as to be reimbursed by the winning bidder, in case it is not awarded the concession contract.
